Just in Thame... for Spring creativity

Man buying a fine art print

One of the joys of growing a craft business is getting up early in all weathers, packing the car, and driving to that very wonderful thing: a country town craft market.

Craft markets seem to epitomise something quintessentially British; including the giving of gifts lovingly made from the hundreds of creative small businessess that form the backbone of the British economy - or at least a key vertebrae!

So yesterday I was with the best of them in the fabulous market town of Thame on a fresh Spring day. I could be found amongst local artists, jewellery made from flowers, wearable sculpture in felt, and block printing from India - and not a homemade preserve or chutney in sight! It's always a delight to sign books and create orders for personalised gifts - for adults and children - that I hope will be treasured for many years to come.

It was great to also catch-up with the wonderful @the_book_house - the best independent children's bookshop in the region!

Step outside your front door and you might just find that the world's wide awake with the amazing creativity of Spring!
